Using Rules to automatically assign additional services

Overview

  • It's now possible to create rules that automatically apply DHL Express services (e.g., GoGreen, Adult Signature) when specific conditions are met, such as SKU, Shipping Description, Shipping Method, etc.
  • Assigning a pre-defined tag to an order will automatically apply services that may have been sold to the buyer at the checkout page.
  • For example, if a GoGreen delivery option was selected, this can be identified via the rules function and the service applied automatically.

Pre-defined Tags

The pre-defined tags are listed below, along with the relevant service that will be applied:

  • GreenService = GoGreen Plus Service
  • SaturdayDelivery = Saturday Delivery
  • SignatureRequired = Direct Signature
  • AdultSignature = Adult Signature
  • NeutralDescription = Neutral Description
  • Document = Send a Document shipment from Great Britain (GB) to Northern Ireland (NI)

Note: Please be advised some of these services require DHL approval and may incur additional costs.

  2. Click on Add New.
