Assign DHL Express dangerous goods to an order via rules
To assign dangerous goods types via the rule follow the below steps:
1. Navigate to settings > rules
2. Create a new rule with the condition "Item SKU" equals 12345
3. Select the action "Set Dangerous Goods Type"
4. Enter the 'Content Id' of the Dangerous Goods type you are using (Content Id can be found in
the above table).
5. Click Save
6. Repeat steps 1-5 for each dangerous goods type you would like to set
On import, if the value added matches a contentID (from the table above), any order meeting the
conditions of the rule will be set with the specified contentID and will see the Dangerous Goods
option ticked in the UI and in the shipping breakdown within an order. If the value does not match
any contentID, no changes will be made to orders meeting the conditions of the rule.
Important
• DHL Express Commerce currently supports one dangerous goods type per order, if you are
sending multiple dangerous goods in one shipment you will need to split the order.
• At this time, DHL Express Commerce does not support dangerous goods type Dry Ice.
