Overview
- Learn how to import orders automatically or manually.
- DHL Express Commerce recommends you import orders automatically to prevent orders from being missed.
- Set the status of orders to import.
Automatically import orders
- In your DHL Express Commerce account, go to Settings > Integrations.
- Tick the Automatically import orders from all integrations (typically every 20 minutes) checkbox.
- Click Save.
Manually import orders
- In your DHL Express Commerce account, select Orders.
- Click the Import drop-down menu, then select one of the following:
- Import from integration. Select the integration that you want to import from, and the number of days you want to import the orders from.
- Import from CSV file to select and import a CSV file.
Set the status to import
When you set up your integration, you can set the status of orders to be imported. The default status is open. To change your importing status:
- Go to Settings, then select Integrations.
- Select your integration e.g. Shopify.
- Set the Status to import/Order Financial Status.
Once imported, the system will show you how many orders it has brought over. The imported orders are now visible in the New tab in the Orders page.
Import weights
DHL Express Commerce can import the combined weight of all the items in an order from any integration that allows for the assigning of weights to products. To set this up:
- Go to Settings > Packaging.
- Select how package weights and dimensions should be calculated.
