Overview
This article describes the options for printing your shipment labels. Addresses should be marked as valid by DHL Express Commerce before trying to print a shipment label.
Selecting a Label Format
To select which format you would like your labels to be generated in, follow the steps below
- Go into Settings > Printing
- Select Format for outbound labels
- Select Format for return labels
The options available are
- PDF 8x4 - This will return a 8" x 4" label sized PDF. This should be selected if you intend to print using a label printer
- PDF 6x4 - This will return a 6" x 4" label sized PDF. This should be selected if you intend to print using a label printer
- PDF A4 - This will return a 8" x 4" label in A4 format. This should be selected if you intend to print using a laser printer onto A4 paper
Print individual orders
Print individual orders from the Orders screen using the Print button, or directly from the order detail screen by clicking Print Labels.
This generates a tracking number and shipping label for the order. The order automatically moves from the New tab to the Printed tab.
Only orders that have printed labels can be re-printed. This is because orders are assigned a tracking number when first printed.
The re-print option allows you to print a copy of the label without assigning a new tracking number.
Bulk print labels
Bulk print orders from the Orders screen by selecting multiple orders and clicking the Print shipping label button. You can only bulk print orders that use the same courier service, even though they may not have the same product code.
Once you have selected the orders, click Print in the Orders screen. The same method can be used for manifesting.
