Overview
In this article, learn how to auto-correct shipping addresses from the Orders screen. Invalid addresses are highlighted with a red cross.
1. Auto-correct addresses
- From the Orders screen, select the Invalid only switch on the top left.
- Click the auto-correct button in the top right of the app.
Each address with an issue will be checked and if a solution is found, it will be displayed with the modified address highlighted in red.
IMPORTANT! Ensure you check each change before saving the changes using the button at the top.
2. Issues screen in-line editing
For any addresses that couldn't be auto-corrected, you can edit the address directly from the invalid only screen.
NOTE in-line address editing will not work in the new orders screen.
Click on the field that you wish to edit and once complete you will need to save your changes using the button at the top.
IMPORTANT! Make sure you check the suggested corrections before automatically selecting them. This will avoid inadvertently changing state or suburb.
3. Edit addresses in the shipping dialog
The shipping dialog can be displayed at any time by clicking the order number or the name. In the shipping dialog there are several tools to correct addresses.
- The address auto-complete lookup
- Suburb lookup
- Link to Google Maps
You can use these tools to fix any remaining issues.
