Overview
- There are four different ways to choose from when deciding how order notes left at checkout should be imported and mapped in DHL Express Commerce.
How it works
The four options are:
- Do not import notes.
- Map to delivery instructions.
- Map to notes section.
- Map to both the delivery instructions field and the note section.
Overview
- DHL Express Commerce has the capability to import bundled products from Shopify
- Integrations with the most common Shopify bundling apps are supported
- Import line items from bundles similarly to non-bundled products
- Learn how to set up bundles for import in DHL Express Commerce
Set up bundles for import
When you configure multi-select items or bundles on Shopify, typically these are bundled as a single lin tem and then properties are added for the selected items. To debundle this into multiple lines using the properties, see the following steps to configure this:
- In DHL Express Commerce, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Shopify settings.
- Click on the Advanced tab > Scroll down to the Field Mapping section.
- Tick the Import Item Properties as Line Items (Multi buy bundles) option.
Using Shopify bundle apps
While DHL Express Commerce supports most common Shopify bundling apps, bundles can vary in their configuration in Shopify, so compatibility issues may arise so make sure to test the apps with DHL Express Commerce first before proceeding.
Importing Shopify order notes to the notes section in DHL Express Commerce can be useful in cases where notes are not relevant to delivery, such as personalisation or custom gift messages etc.
