Rules based on weight

Overview

• You can create rules in DHL Express Commerce based on the weight of the order.
• DHL Express Commerce can use this information to allocate a specific courier and product code.
• For example, you want to use a different carrier service if the weight is above 12kg.

How to set up a rule based on weight

1. In DHL Express Commerce, navigate to Settings > Rules.
2. Click Add a new rule.
3. Under Conditions select Order Weight.
4. In the drop-down menu, select which comparison operate you want to use and then the value.
5. Under Actions, select Set Courier & Product Code.
6. Select the courier and and product code to be used in the rule.

Limitations

The rule based on weight are set-up for every order and you are not able to exclude a part of this order.
